Frequently Asked Questions
What does PSR stand for and why can we not use a specific person’s name?
PSR stands for Partner Sales Representative which is the title of the person who will be representing you on the phones. Since there will be multiple voices you’ll hear coming through the phone, this allows us to be much more seamless.
Why do you need an email address in my domain name?
The reason we ask for an email address in your domain name is because our overall goal is to look and sound like we are sitting inside your office making these calls and sending these emails. Utilizing your domain name opposed to something such as Gmail helps add validity to the email.
In what ways will the email address be used?
The best way to think of this is imagine you are setting up an email address for a new employee. We will fully manage the address and it will be used in 3 ways.
- We will be sending out emails on your behalf (we will go through this during your implementation month) that are triggered through Salesforce, but when they hit the prospect’s inbox they will look as though they came from the PSR Email Address
- When prospects respond to those emails, the response will come directly to the psr@smbyrtc.local inbox where we will correspond with the prospect accordingly.
- When we set up appointments on your behalf, the calendar invitations will go out from the psr@smbyrtc.local address/calendar.
Who all will have access to the email address credentials?
Your Partner Sales Team will have access to this email address – essentially meaning the account manager as well as the person calling on your account.
Whose server are the emails sent from?
The emails will be sent from our Salesforce IP. We have never had an issue, but if there were to be an issue with a company “flagging” the server it would be something for our team to figure out, it would not affect your server.
